The Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) gives home owners, tenants and buyers information on the energy efficiency of their property. Learn more by taking a look at our video (above).

 

What is an EPC Grade?
The energy performance certificate (or EPC) is required by law when any building is constructed, sold or put up for rent.

 

It gives the building an energy or environmental impact grade (with respect to the carbon emission efficiency) from A to G, A being the most energy efficient. The average efficiency grade to date is E (Rating 46).
