Energy Performance Certificates (EPC's)

What is an EPC?

The energy performance certificate (or EPC) is required by law when any building is constructed, sold or put up for rent. It gives the building an energy or environmental impact grade (with respect to the carbon emission efficiency) from 'A' to 'G', where A is the most energy efficient. The average efficiency grade to date is D.

Energy Efficiency Rating

The EPC gives home owners, buyers and tenants information on how that energy efficiency could be improved.
