About Green house
Green house has been part of the Home Information Pack and Energy Performance Certificate market since August 2007, providing home owners, tenants and buyers information on the energy efficiency of their property.
Green house was developed as a brand identity and a concept in October 2008 when rental market legislation was enforced. Alongside this, The Managing Director of Green house, decided to adopt a new environmental policy. The company became a member of the British Standards Institute in February 2008.
Environmental awareness is a universal concept and we believe that each step towards becoming more aware, no matter how small, helps. Therefore it is our philosophy that no matter which shade of green you consider yourself to be, the fact you are participating in the green revolution is what counts.
As part of our efforts to become more environmentally aware we have a paperless office. Any documents that are received by us are scanned, electronically stored, shredded and then recycled. We do not print documents so all relevant paperwork is e-mailed; we do not therefore print Energy Performance Certificates or Home Information Packs.
From the sale of every Energy Performance Certificate we will donate £0.37 towards greenhouse reduction initiatives. This is our way of making a difference by giving something back. We know that here is more to be done and are taking relevant steps to ensure that our staff members, suppliers and customers are made aware of the benefits of creating a more sustainable environment.
