Installation process |
Scaffolding was erected first thing in the morning and the installation team began with mounting the brackets and roof rails so the solar panels can be mounted safe and secure to the roof. The aspect is perfect south facing so we expect this scheme to generate the very highest financial returns. |
The installation team are mounting 16 250 watt, black solar panels creating a 4KW system which allows the maximum FIT returns for this customer while reducing their electricity consumption at the same time. |
This particular job took just one day to set up the brackets, rails and then mount 16 solar pv panels. We were very fortunate with the weather as it was a more complicated job than usual and required a team of six men to work closely together. |
The black solar pv panels have been our best seller because they are inconspicuous and provide a very attractive finish for our customers. We expect this trend to continue with future projects. |
The inverter comes with a unique 20 year warranty to ensure the very thing that turns AC from the panels in to DC electricity that can then be supplied to the national grid is protected. Without this piece of equipment working well there then the panel become useless. There are different types of inverters available for all size systems. |
This is the official generation meter that is used to measure the output of the solar pv system. It is also the generation meter a customer refers to when the Feed In tariff providers ask for a meter reading in order that the government may make a FIT payment. This part is very straight forward but our customer service is on hand for all questions our customers may have. |
